Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, Joony started her modeling career in Korea while working in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Singapore. In 2016, she relocated to New York City to further her modeling career working mainly in the U.S. and Europe. She is currently studying acting at the Barrow Group theatre in NY. Fish Bones is her first on screen experience.



Borah Ahn was born and raised in South Korea and relocated to New York in the early 90’s where she worked as a model and designer. She studied acting at the Micheal Howard Studio and the Stellar Adler program. She’s worked on various films including Babo, Simbi Zombies, You Promised, Six Degrees of Murder, and Mystery at the Museum.

JOANNE MONY PARK, Writer/Director

Joanne Mony Park is a Korean- American writer/ director from Los Angeles, CA. She graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts MFA film program in 2017 where she received the Clive Davis Award for Excellence in Music, the Tisch Graduate Fellowship, and was a finalist for the ARRI Volker Bahnemann Cinematography Award in 2015. She holds a BFA in Visual Arts, and Education Studies, from the University of California, San Diego. Her past short films have screened at Edinburgh International Film Festival, Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival, and San Diego Asian Film Festival. She currently resides in NYC where she directs music videos and works as a branded content video producer at Conde Nast. Fish Bones is her first feature film.


SHELDON CHAU, Cinematographer 


Born and raised in Los Angeles and of Cantonese descent, Sheldon was inspired by the power of storytelling when he learned of his parents’ tale of survival in which they fled Vietnam during the war to endure an arduous journey en route to America. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Film & Media Studies at the University of California, Irvine, where he found a natural inclination towards visuals and camerawork, Sheldon pursued cinematography as an MFA candidate at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. He was the winner of the 2015 ARRI Volker Bahnemann Award for Cinematography and a 2013 Kodak Cinematography Scholarship nominee. He recently screened his work (as a cinematographer) at Sundance Film Festival, Venice International Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival, and finished principal photography on Tribeca Film Institute supported feature Nigerian Prince.



MILENA LUNA, Production Designer/Colorist

Milena Luna is a creative director and production designer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has more than 10 years leading award-winning projects across design, fashion and film for high-profile brands including Hermes, Nike, Estee Lauder,  L'oreal Group, Conde Nast and Random House, among others. She has contributed with magazines and digital media channels like Vogue, CR Fashion Book, and Nowness. She studied photography in 2006 at the National School of Photography, Argentina and Communication Design at Altos de Chavón School of Design, Dominican Republic in 2009. She relocated to NYC in 2011 when she received an honoree scholarship in Illustration at Parsons the New School of Design. When she’s not taking care of her plants, or building furniture, Milena is fulfilling her passion for independent films.




Cris Gris is an actress, writer, and director from Monterrey, Mexico. She holds an MFA in filmmaking from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has starred in numerous shorts, including “The White Roses” which premiered at Berlin International Film Festival and won the European Grand Prix of the Regional Council of Bretagne in the European Festival of Short Films of Brest. She went on to have her first leading role in the feature independent drama Fish Bones. She has written and directed various fashion films, art and music videos. Her latest film San Miguel, which she wrote and directed, received the renowned Spike Lee Film Production Fund.




Chris Kim is an Asian American actor currently training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC. He has worked on various indie films such as The Destined King, Ambience and Foundation. TV credits include Blindspot, Billions, My Crazy Love, and more. He is also a print model, musician, and athlete. 




Mary once macheted tall grass in the jungles of the Philippines to help push a picture vehicle out of deep mud in time for golden hour all while wearing a banana suit. She is all about getting the shot while having a good time. Mary received her MFA at Tisch School of the Arts for Writing and Directing where she was the recipient of the prestigious Tisch Graduate Fellowship for Cinematography and a Wasserman Finalist for her short film called Ina Nyo. She recently screened her work as a cinematographer at Outfest 2017. With her work, she pursues distinct and transformative stories full of bullish heart and levity.


BEGONIA BERGES, Costume Designer

Begonia Berges was born and raised in a small town in Spain called Benicassim. She graduated in Fashion Design at Llotja School of Arts in Barcelona and has a BA in Marketing and Advertising from University of the Arts London. She received her first costume design job by chance in 2011, designing a short story. She instantly fell in love with the industry and made her passionate about helping challenging social stories be told. Not having looked back since then, she has dressed Hollywood well known names such as Zachary Quinto, Emma Roberts and Julianne Nicholson for Matthew Newton's Who We Are Now (Toronto Film Festival 2017)  to up coming starts such as Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Anthony Ramos for Reinaldo Green's Monsters and Men (Sundance 2018). Her movies have won awards at Tribeca and SXSW and she continues to favor good social writing.

ROSA CALLEJAS, Production Designer

Rosa is a NY based Production Designer. She holds a Master in Architecture and a BFA in Visual Arts from the European University of Madrid, Spain. She worked as an Architect in Spain for 7 years, exploring since then how to create and interact with space and materials from multiple types of arts. When she moved to NY, she got hooked on film and discovered her passion designing the universe that surrounds innumerable stories to be told. She has work for directors like Julia Solomonoff, Dan Powell and Jim McKay; companies incl. Starbucks, Amazon and Google; and stars as Christina Ricci, Amy Sedaris, Chris Elliot and Franchesca Ramsey.
